Social media, Facebook, is abuzz with
FIFA World Cup. And ‘Brazil house’ of Narayanganj has become the center of this
discussion.
It has come to be known that in 2010,
during the World Cup, the house owner Jaynal Abadin Tutul painted their own
house at Lalpur in Fatullah of Narayanganj in resemblance with Brazil flag. In
2014, because the renovation work of the house was going on, the color of the
house could not be changed that time. But, this time, the entire new
six-storied building was decorated in green and yellow, making the structure
look like a giant Brazil flag. In the meantime, this house has created a
nationwide stir as “Brazil house”.
The owner of Brazil house, Jaynal
Abadin Tutul, told Jagonews24, “It feels great to see this house being
discussed all around. To see the Brazil house, embassy officials including Brazil
Ambassador to Bangladesh are supposed to arrive in Fatullah on June 22.”
He also said, “After the house being
decorated in the color of his favorite team’s flag, it has been known as Brazil
house. I never thought that a lot of discussion would take place regarding this
house. For doing such work, many people called me mad at the beginning. Now
they are encouraging me in many ways.”
Tutul further said, during Brazil’s
match, he will arrange different types of events in his house.
The crowd of visitors to see the Brazil
house is increasing every day. CC camera has also been installed in the house
for safety measures.
